  1. I have removed Ecover from the list after getting this e-mail.

“I note that Ecover Household Wipes are still on the list for MI free products, however they have had MI in them for a while now (I think I wrote to say that although it was on packaging, it was not listed on their website). Unless it’s MI free again now – I don’t know, I haven’t bought them since.”

If anyone has any update I’d be happy to hear it.

  2. Up & Up brand (sold at Target in the US) flushable cleansing wipes seem to be MI free.

I don’t have a diagnosed MI allergy but do have dyshidrotic eczema and suspect MI contributes.

Thank you for maintaining these lists.

  3. Day 2 of patch testing shows significant reaction to MI, I’ve been googling since I’ve left the dermatologist’s office. So far this site has helped give me an idea of what I can hopefully use! Thank you!

  4. Just had my patch testing results and as above MI gave the worst reaction. So now I’ll be scanning every product I use to check its full contents. Thank you for this website it offers an insight into what to avoid. Thanks

  5. WIPES – Wet Ones are MIT-free
HAIR PRODUCTS – Fructis and Kids are MIT-free

Someone on your site said Palmolive Ultra Pure and Free was safe but IT’S NOT!!! On its site it lists both MIT & MCIT as ingredients.

I’d like to find an MIT-free dish detergent so I don’t have to make my own.

    Thanks – Joline

  6. For baby wipes i use water wipes… everything else makes me break out. For eye makeup remover i use straight up coconut oil and my eyes (dark circles) have never looked better.
