Do you think Aromatherapy is losing its popularity

I have recently written an article where I suggest that aromatherapy is losing its popularity.   I would love to hear what you think.

  2. This is an interesting question. I think the relationship between aromatherapy and skin care is a love-hate one. There is both affinity and conflict in it. Essential oils may contain substances that benefit the skin, thought the lack proper scientific evidence leaves us fumbling in the dark here. I guess an easy example would be the antiseptic essential oils as ingredients in antiseptic creams. As for the conflict between skin care and aromatherapy, I would say it is serious enough to lead to a divorce. Essential oils contain irritants and potential allergens. The increased popularity of fragrance-free skin care might well explain the decline in aromatherapy skin care that you noticed.
    I have to say I hesitated a lot
