Regular readers of this blog will probably be surprised that I am about to start a new initiative when I am so obviously half way through several others.  But there is a reason to this madness as I will explain.

I have decided that I am going to chose the product in each category of cosmetic and personal care product that I think is the best.  This is going to take a while as I want it to be an accurate and honest set of assessments.  I am also hoping that I can use it reconfigure the website so that the ads that pay for the expense of running the site can all appear on that bit of the site leaving more screen space on the more sciency bits for, er science.

The main reason I like doing this site is to share my interest in the science behind the products.  Most of the feedback I get comes from people who are interested in this as well so it is very satisfying.  But when I analyse my traffic I get most of my hits from people who are interested in specific products, so I hope that they will find this interesting.
